The day started out interestingly, as we had to get through a storm on Wolfe Island. The weather changed from sunny with no wind to cloudy and raining with hurricane force winds within quite a short time. The wind proved that you must peg down a tent or else the wind will take it, as its own Shad Valley souvenir. It was actually a great experience because we saw who really took charge in an emergency situation, everyone working as a team and pegging all the tents and actually have an amazing night.
After that adventure we did quite some trust exercises. We did one exercise where everyone but one person lays down on the ground facing the same direction and the one person laid on top of everyone, the people on the ground rolled to one direction at the same time. This worked like a human conveyer belt.
We also walked from the campsite on Wolfe Island to the ferry, then from the ferry to Queen’s University. Once we arrived back on campus we went to the ILC building, which is where we gather to work on our project.
